Captain : Dimitris Altanis
Captain Dimitris is a seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean. He approaches every charter with enthusiasm, precision, and a genuine focus on guest comfort. Fluent in English and well-acquainted with American culture, he ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for international guests. A graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and holder of a Master Class B 1500GT license, Dimitris blends strong technical expertise with a solid foundation in hospitality. His extensive knowledge of the Greek islands, paired with his commitment to exceptional service, has made him a trusted captain on motor yachts ranging from 25 to 40 meters, including M/Y GIOE, M/Y THEION, and M/Y SEA AXIS. Outside of his professional life, Dimitris enjoys connecting with nature whether hiking, fishing, or pursuing his interest in amateur weather forecasting.

Engineer : Vangelis Darzentas
Vangelis is a highly adaptable engineer with more than ten years of experience working on both commercial vessels and luxury yachts. Before joining M/Y Hag, he served aboard M/Y Harmony where he oversaw all engine room operations, auxiliary machinery, tenders, and water toys with great attention to detail and professionalism. He holds a 2nd Class Marine Engineer license, along with certifications in advanced firefighting, tanker safety, ERS, and cybersecurity. His strong technical expertise is complemented by a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach, making him a dependable and valued member of the crew. Known for his reliability and problem-solving skills, Vangelis consistently goes above and beyond in his role. In his free time, he enjoys jet skiing, diving, spearfishing, and looking after animals.

Chef : Panagiotis Panagopoulos
Chef Panagiotis is a true professional of five-star dining, bringing over 25 years of experience in top-tier restaurants across Athens and Boston, including 12 years refining his skills aboard luxury charter yachts. Before joining M/Y HAG, he was on board M/Y IRENE for over a decade, where he honed his craft and delivered exceptional culinary experiences at sea. From intimate fine dining moments to lavish feasts under the stars, his meticulous attention to detail ensures every dish delights both the palate and the eye. Dedicated to continuous growth, he is always exploring new flavors, perfecting his techniques, and drawing inspiration from his surroundings. He speaks English and enjoys life at sea while seeking fresh ideas to elevate his cuisine.

Chief Stewardess : Evelyn Austria
With over 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality and yachting, Evelyn brings elegance, discretion, and an exceptional eye for detail to every guest experience. As Chief Stewardess on board M/Y HAG, she leads the interior team with confidence and warmth, consistently delivering a seamless and refined standard of service. Prior to joining HAG, Evelyn held key roles across various yachts in Greece and USA; she served as Chief Stewardess on M/Y NOEMA, where she managed all interior operations, led a team of stewards and ensured outstanding guest service and smooth day-to-day running. Her extensive background also includes positions onboard M/Y ROCK 13 in Miami, M/Y CHAMPAGNE SEAS and M/Y SAPPHIRE. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience as a stewardess on board M/Y MEDORA and M/Y WATER TOY III, independently overseeing all interior responsibilities, as well as serving as a Nanny Stewardess on board M/Y LULLABY II, where she combined attentive childcare with high-level guest service. Her passion for hospitality is reflected in every detail, from creating a welcoming atmosphere to anticipating guests’ needs with precision and care. Stewardess : Eleni Evangelou
Eleni has over ten years of experience in hospitality and yachting, combining professionalism with a friendly and approachable personality. As a stewardess on board M/Y HAG, she ensures the interior runs smoothly while providing attentive, high-quality service to every guest. Before joining M/Y HAG, she served on board S/Y Vela, S/Y Serenissima, S/Y Oneida and S/Y Phantom gaining extensive experience in high-standard service, interior operations, and guest care and refined service. Experienced in silver service and formal dining, she works efficiently under pressure while keeping operations organized and seamless. She speaks English and enjoys travelling.


Deckhand : Nikos Vlachos
Nikos is an experienced maritime professional with extensive deck and engineering experience on various yachts. Maritime-trained, adaptable, and efficient under pressure, with strong skills in maintenance, watchkeeping, line handling, and safety procedures. He is committed to high-standard operations and seamless guest service. Nikos speaks English and enjoys swimming.
