Saša Horvat, born 1977 in Zagreb, Croatia. Sailing was his first love from childhood, started with windsurfing and later continued on sport catamarans. After school he worked in a surf shop as shop manager and windsurf instructor. His next step was sailing with friends in Croatia on bareboat cruisers, where he fell in love to charter sailing. Sasha now is working as a professional skipper for the charter industry on crewed and bareboat sailing yachts, catamarans and motorboats. Out of season he is doing transfers of boats for charters or for private owners, regattas, sailing schools and skipper academy. He speaks fluent English. He is certified Yachtmaster, D2 Basic safety and VHF STCW license. His top priority is safety of the crew during the charter. With excellent knowledge of the Adriatic coast and its islands, navigation, knowledge of wind and sails, he can provide a safe and relaxing extraordinary journey for all type of clients. He has passion for Croatian gastronomy and focus on wine tasting on island Hvar, Brac and Pelješac.
