GEORGI YANEV

Captain

Born in Bulgaria in 1975, Captain Yanev boasts a life-long experience in the maritime field, having worked on various vessels since the year 2000. In the last 10 years he has also worked as Safety & Navigational Instructor & Trainer for future captains.

He is Safety and Operational Supervisor SCC registered in Belgian Central Register VCA. He owns several navigation degrees, among them: MCA Master. Unlimited (CoC); Proficiency In Survival Craft; Medical care; Advanced Fire Fighting; SSO; Training In Marine Environmental Awareness; Operational use of ECDIS and AIS; Use of Radar and ARPA.

Ambitious and professional, Captain Yanev has a strong work ethic, he is loyal and committed to ensure owner and guests the greatest satisfaction from the yachting experience.

He fluently speaks Bulgarian (mother tongue), English and Russian.



NIKOLAY ROSENOV KOVACHEV

Chief Officer

Born in Bulgaria in 1996, Nikolay Kovachev has a Bachelor’s degree in Navigation, achieved at the Naval Academy of ´Nikola Y. Vaptsarov´ of Varna, Bulgaria.

He has worked with the same owner for the last 6 years. At the very beginning of his career, in 2017, he was deckhand on the 83m M/Y Here Comes the Sun, immediately following her delivery. In 2022-beginning 2023 he worked as Second Officer on the 74 m M/Y Synthesis and on the 60 m Amels Come Together. His role involved: monitoring of safety equipment, navigational watches, passage planning, stability, GMP, and GMDSS equipment. Support to the Chief Officer in ensuring the overall safety, security, and environmental compliance of the vessel. He also took care of all deck operations for private parties’ accommodation.

In 2023 Nikolay was at the helm of the 27m M/Y yacht ‘Right Now’ as Captain during the summer charter season. The experience was very successful and throughout the conclusion of the season, Captain Nikolay Kovachev actively participated in the seamless execution of the vessel’s sale, overseeing the intricate process from negotiations to the final delivery to the new owner.

For the safety and comfort of guests on board, he boasts a large number of certificates, including: Chief Officer Unlimited (in progress); OOW CoC Unlimited; CoC Master 300gt; Adv. STCW PSC&RB; Adv. STCW Fast Rescue Boats; GMDSS GoC Exp. 2025; Ships Security Officer; ECDIS & AIS; RADAR & ARPA; Marine Environmental Awareness; CoC 40g; Proficiency in Security Awareness; Proficiency in Designated Security Duties; Medical First and Medical Care; Crowd Management & Passenger Safety; Adv STCW Advanced Fire Fighting; Seafarers Medical Certificate; Basic STCW Training.



BRANDON HANK PHILLIPS

Deckhand

Born and raised in Johannesburg, Brandon Hank Phillips is currently attending University, faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He has been working since 2021 in the hospitality and yachting industry with the role of deckhand/engineer, boasting several documented experiences .

He owns different boating and deckhand certifications, among which: RYA Personal Watercraft Certificate and Powerboat; RYA Short Range Radio; Level 1 Seafarer Medical Certificate; Class 2 Aviation Medical Certificate; AEC 1 and AEC 2. He has experience as tender driver, in navigation and anchor operations and IT. He has great problem solving skills and an extensive knowledge of the most important onboard equipment. English is his mother tongue; he also speaks German and Afrikaans.



CARLOS ALONSO

Head chef

Carlos Alonso has now two decades of experience as chef. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant, Culinary and Catering Management, issued by The Culinary Institute of America, and an Associat’s Degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training, issued by California Culinary Academy.

His culinary journey has taken him first to the renowned Michelin-starred establishment Joel Robuchon in Paris. Later he worked for the prestigious royal household of Sheika Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, and later he became an integral part of their yacht fleet as Head Chef.

Moreover, he owned and operated his own restaurant in Valencia for almost 3 years.

Mastered culinary skills: Italian, Spanish, French and Mediterranean cuisine; Asian (Japanese, Thai and Filipino) cuisine; baking and pastry; vegan, vegetarian, keto food; modern and traditional cooking style.



DIMITAR TOSHKOV DIMITROV

Chief Engineer

Dimitar hasa Bachelor degree in Marine Engineering and a master's degree in Ship Building and Marine Engineering, from the Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria.

He boasts a long experience, gained on yachts and on bigger ships and ferries that enlightened his professional skills along with his organization, sense of responsibility and good team-player characteristics.

He boasts excellent communication skills, and he speaks Bulgarian and English.



DIMA TSANKOVA DIMOVA

Stewardess

Stewardess with a demonstrated history in the hospitality and entertainment sector. She is passionate about superb client experience, motivated to continue providing quality services and support organizations in enriching people’s lives via consistent application of a versatile skillset, exceptional adaptability and attention to detail.

She has worked on different private and charter yachts as stewardess and masseuse, with outstanding references.

She owns many marine certificates, including Training for Seafarers with designated security duties, Food & Hygiene lvl2, STCW, Security Awarness.

She fluently speaks English and Bulgarian (mother tongue).
