The Bahamas are widely choosen for sailing holiday yacht charters in Antiqua,BVI & Tortola. The best time of the year for sailing in the Caribbean is from January through March which are the most ideal months for yacht charters in the Caribbean.  Hurricane season and summer rains are from June through November, which do not always make for easy sailing. Some of the most popular cruising areas are the British Virgin Islands located in the Bahamas which consist of the main islands of Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke, along with over fifty other smaller islands and cays.

The region is divided into several sub-regions, each offering unique experiences. Below are suggested itineraries for yacht charters in some of the most popular Caribbean destinations.

1. The British Virgin Islands (BVI)

  • Itinerary:
    • Day 1: Start in Tortola (Road Town) – Explore the island’s capital and relax at Cane Garden Bay.

  • Best Time to Go: The best time for Caribbean yacht charters is from December to April, during the dry season. Avoid the hurricane season from June to November.
