The Mega Yacht Voyager

The 68 meter/36 cabin Voyager was launched in 2012. This sleek high -tech looking yacht complies with the most stringent SOLAS safety regulations.

Life on Board

Main Lounge: Located on the Main deck, right off the reception area, the Main Lounge is gracefully designed and finished with wood panels. There is ample seating space for moments of pleasure or relaxation and modern AV equipment for presentations. The mini library/ Internet suite, just off the Main Lounge, offers a variety of books and magazines as well as free Internet.

Dining Room: The glass enclosed dining room seats 75 passengers and allows for spectacular views around you, while dining in an elegant environment. It extends to the adjacent open deck, also seating 50 passengers and allowing for breakfast, lunch or dinner to be taken “al fresco”. Food is served at the table or displayed on the state of the art hot & cold buffet which also includes an “a la minute cooking” section.

The Horizons Bar & Lounge”: The open Upper Deck Bar Lounge offers stylish shaded seating and is the ideal spot for reading, relaxing or dancing under the stars until the late hours at the sound of our resident DJ/entertainer.

 

The Sun Deck: Sun loungers are available to sunbathe in total comfort while enjoying drinks served from the Sun Deck Horizons bar.

The Cabins

The 68m ALPHA Voyager accomodates up to 72 guests in 36 cabins. 28 cabins are located at the Marina and Riviera Decks and 8 staterooms at the Horizons Deck. Cabins and staterooms sizes range from 16 to 20 m2  /170 to 216 sq.ft. Cabins at the Marina deck feature two oversized portholes and cabins at the Riviera and Horizons deck feauture large windows. All cabins have individually controlled A/C and ventilation, minibars, flat screen TV’s, DVD players and all the amenities of a luxury ship. Bathrooms are finished with warm marble and Corian materials.

8 Day Cruise From Malta 

Day 1 - VALLETTA MALTA

Embarkation at 3 pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your crew and fellow passengers. Overnight in port.

Day 2 - VALLETTA – GOZO ISLAND
Morning sailing to Gozo Island. Morning swim stop at one of Gozo’s beautiful beaches. Arrival in Gozo harbor after lunch. Optional excursion with visits of the Citadel and its baroque Cathedral, our Lady of Ta Pinu Basilica, the St George Basilica and the Cathedral Museum. Late in the afternoon, after a short wine tasting, we will return to the ship. Late night departure for Syracuse, Sicily. Overnight at sea

Day 3  - SYRACUSE ITALY
Early morning arrival in the port of Syracuse. Syracuse, one of the most and prestigious cities of the Hellenic World, was a rival of Athens. Our morning optional excursion will bring us to the spectacular 15,000-seat Greek theatre, the elliptical Roman amphitheater, the Archaeological Museum, the Temple of Apollo, the Fountain of Aretusa, and the Cathedral, which incorporates the remains of the famed Temple of Athena. After lunch you can take our afternoon optional excursion taking you inland, into Sicily’s southeast region, known for its baroque towns. You will visit exquisitely-preserved Noto, a jewel of a town situated on plateau. Late in the evening we leave Syracuse for the Aeolian Islands. Overnight at sea.

Day 4 LIPARI 
Morning arrival in Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands, sitting on the red volcanic rock looking like a “wall of bronze”, according to the Greek poet Homer. Archaeological remains found here have yielded clues to civilizations which date back to 1700 BC, including the Neolithic stones that sit alongside ancient tombstones, and ruins of Greek walls and Roman villas. The Spaniards found their way here in the 16th century, building the Castello (castle) and the 17th century cathedral that is perched above the harbor; All these sights will be available for seeing them on your morning optional sightseeing excursion. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Lipari.

Day 5  - VULCANO ISLAND – PANAREA – STROMBOLI
We leave Lipari in the morning to reach Vulcano Island, famous for its majestic volcano crater and the mud baths. Morning optional walking tour along the slopes of the volcano towards the crater, while enjoying gorgeous views over the sea and the archipelago.  In the afternoon we sail to Panarea, a quaint old style Aeolian Island. Late in the afternoon, we reach Panarea. Time at leisure in port, and in the evening we start our trip to Catania and sail slowly past the island of Stromboli, famous for its live volcano. The sight of live lava eruptions is not to be missed. Overnight at sea.

Day 6 - CATANIA
Morning optional excursion to the Etna Volcano, the highest point in Sicily and a live volcano. A resident volcanologist will provide you with full details on its activity and volcano activity in South Italy. In the afternoon you can take our optional walking tour of Catania and discover the hidden treasures of this old Italian city. Overnight in port.

Day 7 - CATANIA - TAORMINA
Our day starts with an optional tour at nearby Taormina, a city with endlessly winding medieval streets and secluded gardens hidden by stone walls. Our optional full day excursion to this city boasting such beauty and history, features a stroll along the Corso Umberto, lined with piazza, Duomos and palazzo such as the Palazzo Santo Stefano. Later you will take a guided tour of the ancient Greek Theatre with wonderful uninterrupted views of the seal. Our lunch break is followed by time at leisure explore the city and its shops. After our farewell dinner, we start our return sailing to Malta. Overnight at sea.

Day 8 - VALLETTA MALTA
Disembarkation at 9:00 am after breakfast.

Itineraries can be changed at the discretion of Alpha Cruises and of the Vessel's Captain in case of adverse weather conditions - winds of 6/7 Beaufort or more, depending on the vessel- on port authorities not allowing a vessel to leave port or in case of other extraordinary conditions. Such itinerary changes do not entitle automatically passengers to any refunds but Alpha Cruises guarantees that passengers are disembarked at the advertised port of disembarkation on time for their flights.

Cruise fares are per person and week and include

  • Accommodation in double or twin cabins with private SH/WC & air conditioning
  • Full-board: Buffet breakfast and two meals daily, including a Welcome Cocktail, a local Theme Evening, fun BBQ (weather permitting) and Captain’s Dinner
  • Regular (filter) coffee, tea and  drinking water free all day
  • Use of fishing and snorkelling equipment (subject to availability)

PAYMENT

 

25% deposit is required 7 days from confirmation.
75% Balance of payment no less than 60 days prior to day of embarkation.

CANCELLATIONS

240 to 120 days from embarkation € 120/ $140—cancellation fees
119 to 90 days from embarkation 15% of the cruise fare
  89 to 60 days from embarkation 25% of the cruise fare
  59 to 30 days from embarkation 50% of the cruise fare
  29 to 00 days from embarkation 100% of the cruise fare
Cancellations must be confirmed by ALPHA in writing in all cases.

AMENDMENTS

There may be a charge for amendments of cruise date or decreasing pax number received less than 60 days prior to sailing. Amendments must be confirmed by ALPHA in writing.

CHILD REDUCTION
Children between the ages of 7-10 sharing a cabin with two paying adults receive a 50% discount. Children between the ages of 11-16 sharing a cabin with two paying adults receive a 35% discount. Port taxes are not discounted.

NOT INCLUDED IN CRUISE FARE

Such personal expenses as drinks (other than included in the rate), laundry, spa-where applicable-, boutique items and gratuities, (gratuities are optional but as a rule, satisfied clients are expected to give to the captain, at the end of the cruise, approximately Euro 13.00-15.00 p/p p/day for distribution among all crew members) medical expenses, port taxes, shore excursions (shore excursions are proposed and arranged on board by the tour leaders), use of the on board Wi-Fi (available at a charge), expenditures incurred ashore, and anything not mentioned in cruise program.
