Safety on the Harmony V
The latest addition to the Variety Cruises fleet, the HARMONY V, is a 183 ˝ foot-wide Megayacht launched in July 2009. The HARMONY V complies with EUROSOLAS safety regulations, ISPS (International Ships Port Safety Code) ISM, (International Safety Management), while its powerful engines, generators and state of the art twin stabilizers will allow for safe and comfortable cruising.
Life on Board
The HARMONY V is a modern Megayacht with a sleek high-tech look very similar to the private yachts to be found in the famous ports of the world. Life on board will center around the Bar Lounge and Dining Room at the Main Deck and at the Sun Deck Bar where meals are served “al fresco” depending on the weather and the ship location. The classy dining room and the adjoining cosy bar lounge are surrounded by large windows providing beautiful views of the ports of call It accommodates all guests in one single seating and provides a high standard of cuisine, always with some local flavour. The Sun Deck is the ideal place to bask under the sun, read a good book or just gaze at the scenery. The swimming platform on Harmony V stern will allow for easy access to the ship and for a wide range of sea related activities. Service on board is provided by your Captain, the Cruise Coordinator and your experienced Marine and Hotel crew members. Service will be attentive or unobtrusive according to your requirements and priority is always given to the safety and comfort of passengers. Organised excursions are available for most ports of call and can be pre-booked or reserved 24 hours in advance.
The Cabins on Harmony V
The 25 cabins of the HARMONY V are located on the Main deck (9 cabins) and on the Upper Deck (16 cabins). All cabins are premium and contemporary, decorated with soft colour furnishings. Cabins are comfortable and average size is 135 sq feet. All 16 cabins on the Upper Deck offer flexible bedding configuration, which can be set to offer either two twin beds or a double bed. The 9 cabins at the Main Deck consist of 6 double bedded cabins and of 3 twin bedded cabins (no flexible bedding arrangement). All cabins offer large windows and en suite bathrooms with shower and elegant Corian finishing on walls and floors. The cabins are equipped with flat screen TV sets, DVD players, music channels, mini fridges, hairdryers, individually controlled A/C and safe deposit boxes.

Day 1 - Friday
Hurghada (Embarkation)
Embark in the afternoon and meet your crew and fellow passengers during your welcome drink. Tonight you will have the opportunity to taste Arabian delicacies and learn belly dancing and other local dances. You will love our Arabian Night Experience!!!
Day 2 - Saturday
Sharm el Sheikh
Today we reach Sharm El Sheikh, the jet set resort of the Red Sea. After breakfast you can chose from two great optional excursions: The Sinai Mountains and the St. Catherine’s monastery, one of the wonders of the Sinai, or a Land and Sea Safari by four wheel drive with great snorkeling and a Camel Ride along the beach. After dinner do not miss the opportunity to explore Sharm El Sheikh and enjoy its bustling Night Life.
Day 3 - Sunday
Sunday Ras Mohamed (optional)
- Sharm el Sheikh

During the day enjoy the unique natural preserved park of Ras Mohamed and optional diving or snorkeling excursion. In the afternoon you can relax and wander around the town of Sharm el Sheikh or join a “Sunset in the Dessert” optional excursion by four wheel drive. Late in the afternoon, we sail for the city of Aqaba in Jordan.
Day 4 - Monday
Aqaba
In the morning we arrive in Aqaba. Relax and wander around the city of Aqaba, enjoy the sea at one of one of the many Aqaba beaches or join in, our optional excursions: An Eilat city tour plus snorkeling and/ or diving or an Aqaba city tour and a Wadi Rum excursion giving you the possibility to explore the mystique of this famous mountainous desert and Bedouin life.
Day 5 - Tuesday
Aqaba
Today you will not miss an optional excursion to the famed Greco-Roman city of Petra, entirely carved into the rock. After dinner you will have free time for an evening walk in the colorful city of Aqaba.
Day 6 - Wednesday
Taba
Leave in the morning for Taba and join an optional excursion to the imposing Pharaoh’s island. Walk through the ruins of the castle and then enjoy a swim in the crystal blue waters around the island. Tonight join us for our Fishermen’ Night and taste the best of Red Sea fish-food.
Day 7 - Thursday
Safaga
Arrive in Safaga and join the optional tour to Luxor one of the highlights of your cruise. You will visit the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings and Queens and many more amazing sites. For a more relaxing day, you can discover the beauty of the Red Sea and sunken ships with a Glass bottom Red Sea experience.
Day 8 - Friday
Hurghada Early departure to Hurghada. Disembarkation after breakfast.

    EMBARKATION /DISEMBARKATION
    Passengers are requested to be on board 2 hours prior to departure or at mentioned time of embarkation. Disembarkation takes place after Breakfast.

    CHILD REDUCTION
    Infants under the age of 2 free of charge. Children aged 2 to 6 years sharing cabin with two paying adults receive a 50% discount. Children between the ages of 7-12 sharing a cabin with two paying adults receive a 25% discount. Port taxes are not discounted.

    CANCELLATIONS
    25% of the cruise for any written cancellation received between 60 to 31 days prior to sailing; 50% up to 16 days prior to sailing; full cruise fare for written cancellations received less than the 16th day prior to sailing or for no shows even if cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond passenger's control.

    NOT INCLUDED IN CRUISE FARE
    Such personal expenses as drinks, laundry and gratuities, (gratuities are optional but as a rule, satisfied clients are expected to give to the captain, at the end of the cruise approximately 5% of the cruise fare for distribution among crew members) medical expenses, port taxes, shore excursions (shore excursions are proposed and arranged on board by the tour leaders) expenditures incurred ashore, and anything not mentioned in cruise program.

    ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL  ALPHA CRUISES:
    Because no lifeguard is provided swimming off the vessels is at the passengers own risk. Although cruise itinerary is almost always followed as indicated, on occasion due to unforeseen circumstances, such as exceptionally bad weather, (vessels are not permitted to sail when wind force is 6 7 Beaufort).

    The captain upon whom full responsibility is placed for the safety and comfort of the passengers, may make any required changes, at his discretion. Times of arrival and departure at the various ports of call are given as a guide and we cannot guarantee that they will be strictly adhered to. Omitting a port of call or making required changes in itinerary does not entitle passengers to any claims or refunds. Every step has been taken to insure that the sports facilities on board are in good working order and their failure does not constitute reason for refunds and or additional claims. The Company reserves the right to cancel any cruise, in which case the full fare,will be refunded. If necessary, itinerary may be changed and vessel substituted before or after commencement of cruise. Fares are established in accordance with the exchange rate and fuel prices at the time of printing and they are subject to change without notice. After commencement of cruise,should the vessel sustain any breakdown in machinery or be disabled by fire,grounding or collision for more than 48 hours disrupting the cruise itinerary and if no acceptable alternate arrangement or substitute vessel of similar quality is offered, then passenger will be given a proportional refund per diem of paid cruise fare. No further claims will be accepted.

    It is further recognized that Alpha Cruises. acting as a broker between the owner companies of the vessels and the passengers/ tour operators is a Greek company, the vessels are of Greek registry under the jurisdiction of Greek law. Disputes relating to this agreement will be resolved solely according to Greek law in Greek courts. Passengers are advised to purchase a trip cancellation policy in case of any unexpected contingencies. Passengers are covered by insurance while cruising. In case of accident or death the maximum liability amount of 145,000 Euro applies. As this amount is the maximum liability of the owners of vessels passengers/tour operators are advised to purchase an individual accident insurance policy as well. Above conditions shall constitute the sole contract between Alpha Cruises. acting on behalf of the owner of vessels and passengers/tour operators unless otherwise agreed in writing. Alpha Cruises reserves the right to replace the vessel on a particular cruise date with a similar vessel providing same accommodation standards and services.
