CRUISE ITINERARY

Day 01
Friday Embarkation 13.00 – 15.00
Departure from Piraeus at approx. 16:00 and sail to Santorini. Welcome drink on board and safety drill. Dinner on board

Day 02 Santorini – Ios
Saturday
Breakfast on board. Arrival in Santorini at approx. 09:00 Optional excursion. It has been said that the sunsets in Santorini are the best in the world. From the Caldera, breathtaking views of the volcano & neighbouring islands. Thanks to its extraordinary beauty, Santorini is one of the major tourist attractions of Europe.
With its marvellous climate and perfect observation conditions, its prominent caldera it is also an eldorado for volcanologists. Santorini, a wild beauty created from a cosmogony by a volcano that lies in the middle of the bay. On top of it, in the edge of the rock is the reconciliation of the wild and the weird.

Departure from Santorini at approx. 13:00 and sail to Ios. Arrival in Ios, approx. 16:00.

Ios island in Greece is a famous tourist destination, attracting visitors with its golden beaches and the characteristic Aegean architecture. Ios is well known as the party island with the lively atmosphere and the endless fun. The capital of Ios is built at the point where the ancient city was. Ios white houses unfold as far as the top of the hill and its windmills and narrow small roads accomplish to maintain her picturesque scenery.

Optional excursion.
Day 03 Ios - Paros
Sunday Departure from Ios at approx. 06:00 and sail to Paros. Breakfast on board.

Arrival at Paros, at approx. 10:00

The first thing you notice when you arrive in Paros is a blue transparent sky floating inside dazzling white sunlight. That light along with the white Cycladic houses built next to the deep blue Aegean Sea form a fine example of the characteristic fascination we find at the Aegean islands. Paros continues to preserve many of the old two storey houses with their graphic balconies crowded with potted carnations, basil and geraniums.

The two large natural bays of the island -of Parikia and Naoussa- have, however, beautiful, protected sandy beaches. Whether you looking for a crowded cosmopolitan sandy beach with bars, music, and water sports, or you prefer a quite little harbour where you can swim privately in crystal waters and enjoy the beauty of the landscape, Paros is the island for you. Life continues with the same intense long after sun sinks into the blue sea. Here in Paros you will make a promise to yourself that one day you will return. Optional excursion.
Day 04 Paros - Mykonos
Monday Departure from Paros at 08:00 and sail to Mykonos. Breakfast on board.
Arrival at Mykonos, at approx. 11:00
Mykonos island is world famous. It is no coincidence that this, the most cosmopolitan of all Greek islands, attracts so many visitors from the entire globe, including large numbers of artists and intellectuals. Here the steep mountains to be encountered in most of the Cyclades islands give way to low, rocky hills which combine with superb beaches to make up the landscape of the island.

The capital Hora, with its colourful harbour in which little fishing boats nest happily side by side with luxury yachts, presents quite a different picture from that of the majority of Aegean island towns. While it is usual for island villages to be built on naturally amphitheatrically sites, Mykonos is spread out over a flat area and conveys an impression of solid aesthetic cohesion. Along the whitewashed streets stand brilliant white cubic houses with stepped walls for sitting on wooden doors and windows and brightly coloured balconies.
Optional excursion.
Day 05 Mykonos - Syros
Tuesday Departure from Mykonos approx. at 07:00 and sail to Syros. Breakfast on board. Arrival at Syros at approx. 11:00

Syros is the administrative center of the Cyclades Prefecture. Despite the fact that is the capital of Cyclades from the point of view of the architecture has nothing to do with Cyclades! This "strange" fact taken together with its excellent landscapes and beaches and the proximity to Athens, transformed the island into a very popular tourist center.
Optional excursion.
Day 06 Syros - Kea
Wednesday Departure from Syros approx. at 06:00 and sail to Kea. Breakfast on board. Arrival at Kea, approx. at 11:00

Kea, stands lofty in front of the large sea current Cavo Doro and is considered the natural bridge of communication of the mainland of Greece with the Cyclades, delimiting at the same time the Archipelago from the Southern Eubean gulf. Its capital, Ioulis, is inland at a high altitude (like most ancient Cycladic settlements, for the fear of pirates) and is considered quite picturesque. Other major villages of Kea are Korissia (the port) and Vourkari (a fishing village).

Kea is a unique presence in the passage of centuries and constitutes a crossroad of cultures in the Aegean. Visitors are impressed with the traditional architecture and the natural landscape, the rare monuments of all eras and the combination of the mountainous bas-relief, with the spotless coasts, the full of trees mountainsides in the inner island and the abundant water sources. Captain’s Dinner. The last dinner on board, accompanied by the presence of our Captain. After dinner, enjoy Greek dances.
Day 07 Kea – Sounion - Piraeus
Thursday Departure from Kea 05:00, and sail to Piraeus. Breakfast on board. Stop at Sounion.

The sanctuary at Sounion is one of the most important sanctuaries in Attica. Sporadic finds point to the conclusion that the site was inhabited in the prehistoric period but there is no evidence of religious practice in such an early date. "Sounion Hiron" (sanctuary of Sounion) is first mentioned in the Odyssey, as the place where Menelaos stopped during his return from Troy to bury his helmsman, The finds of the 7th century B.C. are numerous and prove the existence of organized cult on two points of the promontory: at the southern edge where the temenos of Poseidon was situated, and about 500 m. to the NE of it, where the sanctuary of Athena was established. Departure from Sounio and arrival to Piraeus at approx. 16:00 Piraeus was known in medieval times as Porto Leone, a name due to the enormous stone lion, which guarded the port's entrance. So, its life had been joined to the sea since its creation. Piraeus is not only a harbor. This city is full of surprises and unexpected sights worth to explore.
